Rev. Linda Seatts-Ogletree is a seasoned Consultant, Mediator, and National Diversity Speaker with over 25 years of experience in education, leadership development, and conflict resolution. She specializes in helping individuals and organizations strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and cultivate inclusive, emotionally healthy environments.

As the founder  of  Release and Refresh Women’s Empowerment Series, Inc. (RRWES), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Rev. Seatts-Ogletree has dedicated herself to improving the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of women, girls, and their families. Recognized by the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor as a partner in education, RRWES empowers those who suffer in silence by offering tools and support for personal and communal transformation.

Rev. Seatts-Ogletree spent 15 years as Director of Wayne State University’s Office of International Students and Scholars, where she led efforts to support over 4,000 international students and 600 scholars. Her academic roles also include teaching at Wayne State and Ashland Theological Seminary, with a focus on diversity, human development, and conflict transformation.

In addition to her work in education and ministry, she was part of the founding team that developed the first Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit at the Detroit office of the U.S. Department of Equal Opportunity. Today, she brings her rich expertise to organizations and teams through tailored workshops, consulting engagements, and mediation services, all designed to foster growth, healing, and effective leadership.

A dynamic speaker and spiritual leader, Rev. Seatts-Ogletree has preached messages of hope across the U.S., Canada, Southeast Asia, and West Africa. She was honored to travel with Liberian President Ellen Sirleaf-Johnson to dedicate schools in the villages of West Africa.

Creative, Driven, Educated, Love of Family

In 2018, God expanded her ministry to include music. A gifted songwriter and international recording artist, Rev. Seatts-Ogletree released her debut Contemporary Gospel Crossover album, Good News, in 2019. Her single “I’m Gonna Win” reached #1 on European radio in the U.K. and has been heard across Brazil, France, the Netherlands, and more than 10 other countries. Her first single, “You’ll Get Your Life Back,” was written to encourage cancer patients, survivors, and anyone facing difficult seasons in life. As a two-time breast cancer survivor, her music and message radiate hope, healing, and victory.

Rev. Seatts-Ogletree is a gifted best-selling author of three books:

1) Did I Say That? How to Communicate in Everyday Life;
2) The Truth about the Superior Lie: Resurrecting the Lives of African Americans Crucified by the Lie! and;
3) My New Life: A Handbook for Born-again Believers.

Rev. Linda Seatts-Ogletree has been featured and quoted in numerous media outlets, including the Detroit Free Press, Inside Higher Education, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly, and on radio stations such as Sirius XM, 105.9 KISS FM Detroit, and 1440 AM, where she also hosted the weekly program Seeds of Hope.

A dedicated Human and Civil Rights Advocate, she actively supports and participates in social justice movements across the country. Her advocacy has included marching in Washington, D.C. for the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington with Rev. Al Sharpton, joining protests for Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and participating in the March for Our Lives to stand with students and families affected by the Parkland High School mass shooting.

Rev. Seatts-Ogletree’s passion for social justice and spirituality is rooted in her deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which calls for justice, compassion, and healing for all.

Education

Rev. Linda Seatts-Ogletree holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing from the Union Institute in Los Angeles, California; a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry with a concentration in Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary; and a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has also completed post-master’s coursework in Sociology and earned a Certificate in Character Education from Birmingham University in the United Kingdom.

She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work and is an active member of ASCAP, the NAACP, the National Action Network, the Women’s March, and March for Our Lives. Deeply committed to service, Rev. Seatts-Ogletree supports missions and charitable organizations that serve God’s children around the world.

She is joyfully married to her soulmate, Richard, and enjoys traveling, reading, worshipping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
